zoo day was crazy hot, most animals stayed away from the cameras to keep cool in the shade. koalas didnt give a fuck and were obviously my favorite. how fucking adorable is that nutsack! too bad the punk ass tiger on exhibition wasnt feelin it that day and you could only catch glimpses of his tail. whatever... on a positive note i ate a 10 dollar 2/3 lb. bacon cheesy super zooburger. shit was way bangin.
uhhhh, unrelated to zoo fest, the Amigo Spot restaurant in our hotel served the best beef/chicken combo Chimichanga east of the LA river. shit was mucho bangin' tambien! the rest of San Diego was spent at Mission Bay watching the sun set and smelling the shore funk. ahhhhh...

first stretch of the holiday was spent in Garden Grove/Little Saigon/Disney Anaheim/Stanton/Huntington Beach area, straight illin'... 4 variations of pho were enjoyed, wahoo's spicy fish tacos* were wolfed down, sample legos were stacked and excessive heat warnings were ignored; "we's tropical people".
oh, and the best fucking peaches and cream cheese stuffed french toast EVER!

i need a holiday

i'm going going, back back, to cali cali. the last time i was there to see terry was fucking epic. we ate pho 3000, i snapped ill street flicks, geeked out to Arcade Fire at the Greek theatre, and caught these two bums slippin...the first pic above was taken in Santa Monica. i wanted to take a picture of vast ocean but was distracted by these two homeless dudes smoking a bowl. they fer real did not give a fuck. later, 4 stupid ass bike cops cruised by and homeboy keeps on burnin'. "fuuck it!"
