so much more

i thought about starting over; allowing the fury to achieve dead blog status. but what's the point? to start another, a new blog, only to kill it after writing a few pathetic posts? there's just no need for my internet existence to be so prolific. so what prompted me to revisit this outlet? who knows. who cares. let's just see how long i can keep at it.

too much has happened since the last post. and those who read this were probably with me when all the dope shit went down. i guess i could recap with bulleted lines, suckapants style... but shit, i've forgotten more than half of what's happened in the last few eventful months. fuck it. i'll try anyway...

-winter "touring" with Future Islands--Bmore, Philly, then DC. i've seen them slay at least ten times in the last year. never disappointing.

-jonesing for some sweet leaf before me and Ddogg went to Floristree in July, then realizing High Places can take you there without the risk of cancer or munchies. No Age and Abe Vigoda exceeded all expectations as well.

-long walk to Festival pier from tifani's for Jam on the River. smoking a blunt Joe rolled filter style while huddling and singing along to the Flaming Lips. getting lost on long walk back to tifani's.

-Joe professing his love for ALK3's frontman at the Chameleon club. "Come on my chest SKIBA!!!"

-highlights of Whartscape 08: DD/MM/YYYY leading us through a musical acid trip, Oxes reunited, Future Islands balloon launch dance party, Parts and Labor w/ new guitar hottie (so hawt, want to touch the heiny)

-dollar Schaefer's and Pale Ale big boys at the Copy Gallery with team Tif and a Jesus Steezed Joe. Future Islands and Ponytail ripped it in one of the seediest venues i've ever been to in philly. even fearless Nadia was scared to get beer from the cornerstore. Future Islands played without a drummer for the first time since i'd seen them in 07 at H&H. still dancetastic. still fucking epic.
